I came across some photos that I wanted to share. You can click on any pic for the full size view.

1:This is a shot I took at Wiggins Park in Camden, New Jersey back in 1996 when Jefferson Starship played. The guy on the right is Jack Cassady (original Jefferson Airplane member and lovingly referred to by JA/JS fans as "God"). Having a hair-raising experience on the left is Diana Mangano, vocalist, who has the un-easy task of singing the songs that Grace Slick made legendary. Diana really does Grace proud.
2: If you've ever seen the film, "Eddie and the Cruisers", this place may look familiar. It's the Elm Auto Recycling yard just outside of Hammonton, NJ. They shot a scene from Eddie... here. At night the place is lit with Xmas lights. Wrecked cars and old motorbikes adorn the structure. A Mecca for the White Trash Set!
3: Here is a shot of the Chelsea Hotel in NYC. I took this back in 96 or 97. Yes, this is the place where Sid killed Nancy...
4: This is a black and white shot I took on Main Street in Utopia last summer.
5: And finally, this is the interior lobby of the Curtis Building in Philadelphia. If you ever have the chance to tour this building you should, it is beautiful ... My Mother's first job was as a receptionist here back in the early 50's.

Your talents are many! You are a photographic artiste. These are beautiful shots.
And where else but on Pax Romano's Ramblings, The Home of Half-Remembered Nostalgia, can I read the phrase "Eddie and the Cruisers?"
Thanks for the memories.

Thanks for the kind words, Rose. Glad you like the snap-shots.
"Dark side's calling now, nothing is real - she'll never know just how I feel..." Whatever happened to Michael Pare?
Pax!
Whatever happened to him?
And beneath the lip-synching, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band?
God, now I have that damn song stuck in my head -- thanks Pax.

PS: 1983 called me and asked for its can of purple can of Aquanet back.
"purple can of aquanet" -- you know what I meant. I can smell it even now ....

Oh god, again I have to reference Mama Romano; she'd spray that crap on her head until her hair could withstand hurricane force winds!
